Classic Car Museum, Wells Maine

This museum is a short ride from the Boston area, located on Route 1, just off the Maine Turnpike in Wells, Maine. On our recent visit, we realized that the exit numbers have been changed recently, so use caution when following directions to get there!
The museum is not large, but there are a wide variety of vehicles to look at. The way the museum is set up, visitors are able to get very close to the cars, so that you can see inside, and see all of the interesting details. However, signs everywhere will warn you to LOOK but DO NOT TOUCH!
Included in the collection are Fords, Chryslers, Buicks, Chevrolets, Cadillacs, and Stanley Steamers. Also housed in the museum are an assortment of antique coin operated machines, such as games and Nickelodeons. The museum also features a gift shop, where you're sure to find something for the car fanatic on your gift list.
