Great Service is in Your Line of Vision
I remember when I first got glasses. I went to my local optometrist, who had an office in his house. He checked my eyes, wrote me a prescription, and then let me choose from a very small selection of frames. Of course, I could have taken my prescription somewhere else for a wider variety, but who wants to make the extra trip?
Over the last several years, I've been going to Lenscrafters at the Burlington Mall. Talk about one-stop shopping! The eye doctor is right there in the mall, and they do a great job. Trust me, they are real eye doctors, with degrees on the wall and everything! Then, all you do is walk about ten yards through a door and you're in Lenscrafters. At Lenscrafters, there are so many walls full of frames that you can stand there for hours! You're sure to find frames that suit you!
Lenscrafters accepts most vision insurance plans, and they also run frequent promotions and coupons, such as buy one set, get a set at half-price. One year when I needed new glasses and they were running this type of promotion, it allowed me to get not only my regular glasses, but prescription sunglasses as well, without breaking the bank! Those prescription sunglasses were one of the best investments I ever made.
Perhaps the best part of the service at Lenscrafters is that they will repair your glasses that you buy there for free. Once, I could not find my glasses anywhere! A friend called a day later, asking me if I had lost my glasses. "Well", she said, "I think we found them". Her husband had run over them with his car in their driveway. (They must have fallen out of my purse.) She said she'd bring them to me, but that they looked "beyond repair". They were, in fact, quite mangled. I took a trip to the mall, dropped them off at Lenscrafters, did some shopping, and came back about an hour later to find my glasses in better than new condition. Even the employees at Lenscrafters were amazed!
