Donate your Gown for a Good Cause

Do you have a prom gown or even a bridesmaid's dress taking up valuable space in your closet? Are you (or your daughter) really ever going to wear that again? Chances are, even if you have another special event in the near future, you, like most of us, will find some excuse to buy a new dress to wear!

Well, consider this? Some girls cannot afford a new dress, even for their very special prom night. While some girls may have an older sister or cousin from whom to borrow a gown, for some this may not be an option. Wouldn't it be great if those girls could benefit from our over-crowded closets? Well, they can, thanks to the 'Belle of the Ball' program sponsored by Anton's Cleaners each year.

All you have to do is take your previously worn gown to any Anton's location. Anton's suggests that gowns be in good shape, only 'gently worn', and only 3-4 years old. Anton's will clean your gown and have it available at their annual 'Belle of the Ball' boutique. There is no cost to you whatsoever, and think of all the new dresses you could then fit in your closet! Girls are referred to the program by schools and social services, and on the night of the boutique, each girl is given a 'personal shopper' to help them find the perfect gown!
